Second Birthday Gift Guide 2021

Welcome back! We are half way through our 2021 Gift Guide series and I really hope you have been able to take inspiration from my recommendations. As before, each product I have spent time researching and testing to make sure it is worthy of a top five position! The IGTV video that goes along side each blogpost will be up on our Instagram(@craneandkind), along with all the previous gift guides(new baby, new mum, first birthday).

1. Play Cotton Dungarees | £18

These 100% cotton dungarees are a beautiful idea for a gift. Not only are they printed with eco friendly dyes but they are ethnically made in the UK! Dungarees are one of the most practical items of clothing, allowing little one to move around in comfort and flexibility. As pictured above, they come in the Cheetah spots or Cheetah faces.

Play Cotton was founded in 2016 by illustrator and fashion designer Nicole Williams, who designs every piece bold and eye-catching.

2. Little Dutch Building Blocks | £19

This big box of wooden blocks is a great way to spark a little ones imagination. The 50 different shapes and sizes comes in this handy barrel to store all the pieces in, making tidying up that little bit easier. Perfect for children with older siblings, as they are able to play within their own range creating whatever they want. Having spent hours and hours playing Lego with my brother, these blocks are a great present that will last a lifetime.

3. Little Dutch Fishing Game | £15

This gift will depend on your own judgement on whether little on is ready, as they do recommend 3+, however, each child is different and I know many two year olds that would enjoy this. This classic fishing game stimulates children’s fine motor skills and concentration, great way to teach through play. The game is a fab way to get little ones interacting with the family and siblings.

4. Little Dutch Wooden Birthday Cake | £18

This super cute wooden birthday cake is a present that keeps giving. Including ages from 1-5 years, little one is able to bring it out especially for their birthday or for when their dolls/teddies are celebrating. The Little Dutch products are always beautiful made and I love how little ones are able to choose what goes on top of the cake.

5.  Rockahula Hair Clips | £6

I am so excited for when my little one has enough hair for me to buy these gorgeous clips. From racoons to seahorses Rockahula are likely to have made a hair clip to match any occasion, hobby or colour. They grip really well to the hair and add a pop of colour to anyone's outfit.

A Little Message

A little message to say thank you for reading this 2nd birthday gift guide and making it to the end! This is the fourth gift guide in our little series, having posted the new baby gift guide, the new mum gift guide, the first birthday gift guide and with one more on their way. We will be filming an IGTV over our Instagram (@craneandkind) having a talk through these products, as well as revealing the gift guide topic for next week, so please pop over and show us some love!

Stay safe and positive in these challenging times and congratulations to any birthday babies.
